What is Orecal? Orecal is used to treat low blood calcium levels in
people who do not get enough calcium from their diets. Orecal plays a
vital role in our body. It is necessary for normal functioning of
nerves, cells, muscle and bone.
If there is not enough calcium in the blood, then the body will take calcium from bones thereby weakening bones.
Orecal helps our body to absorb calcium & having the right amounts of vitamin D. calcium is important for building and keeping strong bones. Orecal is formed by calcium carbonate and calcitriol.
Important elements in formation of orecal are carbon, oxygen, calcium and hormonal active metabolite of vitamin D. Orecal is used as dietary calcium supplement. It increases level of calcium in the blood.It is used as phosphate binder for treatment of hyperphosphatemia & treatment of osteoporosis. It helps to treat high phosphate levels with kidney problems.
